Replacement of Vecoplan by Melkin
The cement plant underwent modernization involving the replacement of two Vecoplan scrapers with new Melkin units while the plant remained fully operational. The project included the dismantling of the original equipment, the fabrication and installation of frames for the lifting units, the installation of the new equipment—including the lifting units—and the reinforcement of the roof structure and steel floor.

Transfer of Ground Slag and Fly Ash Storage Silos
For the HM plant in Mokrá, we carried out the manufacture, delivery, and installation of process equipment for the modification of storage and transport of ground slag and fly ash between storage silos with capacities of 1,100 m³ and 2,500 m³. The project included the construction of a new conveyor route from the elevator to the 2,500 m³ silo, reconnecting the discharge from the elevator suction filter back to the elevators, a new outlet into the chute for ground slag, modifications to the elevator discharge from the 1,100 m³ silo into the fly ash chute for the hoppers in the cement mill, and a new discharge of fly ash into the original slag silo.

CBSN NEW MILL
For the new vertical mill project, we supplied mechanical conveying components and related process equipment. The project included the manufacture and delivery of 9 screw conveyors, a belt conveyor, rotary feeders, slide gates, diverter flaps, and a sampling station.
The equipment was manufactured by RoJa - Consult, while engineering and technical supervision were provided by the MELKOV team.

Modernization of a Double-Chamber Regenerative Kiln
The original equipment was dismantled and a new system was installed—from the storage silo through the feeding equipment to the burner tubes of the lime kiln. The scope of work included the manufacture and installation of more than 1.2 km of pneumatic conveying lines, including all necessary piping components. In addition, control and shut-off elements (ball valves, gate valves, rotary feeders) were installed, and a biomass combustion system was implemented as an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional fuels.

Alternative Fuel Bottling Plant
Construction of a piping system to bottle fuel oil and alternative fuels into the rotary kiln and storage tank. Construction of a boiler house with steam generators and a double-skin storage tank, including a heating system and a shelter for the bottling of fuel oil and AP from tankers. The project also included paving all areas for the operation and maintenance of the site.

As a part of the reconstruction of the mixing center at the CEMEX Prachovice site, Melkov acted as the general contractor for the reconstruction of the existing Georoc mixing line. The complex delivery consisted in the development of implementation documentation, construction works, production and assembly of new technology and electrical parts, including the schedule and organization of the technological progress of the works.

RECONSTRUCTION OF THE CLINKER COOLER

At the Českomoravský cement plant in Mokrá, the homogenisation forces were reconstructed. As part of this project, Melkov provided the dismantling of the existing clarification troughs, including air distribution. At the turn of June and July, our fitters installed a new bell seal of the shaft kiln in the Prosenický cukrovar. As a part of this project, MELKOV designed, manufactured and delivered a steel bell seal, including construction works, surface treatment and actual assembly at the cucstomer´s site.
